Unit 4 as: international negotiations

The purpose of this assignment is to understand how an MNC can demonstrate unethical practices and thereby hurt society. International and global companies have a responsibility not only to their shareholders but also to society, called social responsibility.

Compare and contrast the negotiating styles and strategies of French versus Spanish negotiators. Using the readings, lecture, and your own scholarly research, complete an analysis. Address the following in your paper:

• What are three of differing negotiating styles and strategies of French negotiators and of Spanish negotiators?
• What are three of similar negotiating styles and strategies of French negotiators and of Spanish negotiators?
• What could MNCs do to improve their position when negotiating with either group?

Use critical thinking to apply depth and breadth. Be concise and address the negotiating styles of France and Spain and how those affect negotiations. Go beyond description and restating facts. This writing assignment is required to be completed in the standard APA format. Minimum 2 pages (not including title and reference pages). Abstract not required.
